CO-MODERATED A WEBINAR ON "IMPACT ECONOMY ON SDGS AND URBANIZATION IN ASIA-PACIFIC WITH UN-HABITAT’S UEF & TTI
I recently organised with Alessandra Sollberger, Founder of Top Tier Impact (TTI) (where I am a Community Member), and her team, along with my colleagues at UN-Habitat’s Urban Economy Forum (UEF) on May 13th 2021 a webinar titled “Impact Economy on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and Urbanization in ASIA-PACIFIC”. I served as the Main Project Manager, along with being the Co-Moderator of the event with Alexander Venuto, a colleague of mine from UEF.
For the webinar’s speaking panel, we had an array of eminent figures from Diplomacy, Public Policy, the Mainstream Corporate & Impact Investing World and Academia. They constituted the following speakers:
Anantha Krishnan, Secretary General, Urban Economy Forum (UEF)
Alessandra Sollberger, Founder of Top Tier Impact (TTI)
Barry Palte, Founder of EQ Capital Partners
Frank D’hondt, Secretary General, International Society of City and Regional Planners
Henry Chin, Head of Research, APAC, CBRE
Joe MacDonald, Founder of A&O Design and former Associate professor of Harvard University
Yunqing Xu, Director of University Research Centre for Urban and Environment Studies and Associate Professor at Design School of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), China
All of the speakers provided some excellent insights on a wide array of topics associated within the realm of the webinar.
A special thank you to my colleague at UEF, Alexander Venuto, and Anastasia von Cröy of TTI for their excellent work in sorting out the logistics and finalising with me our excellent choice of the aforementioned panel speakers, along with making this webinar happen.
In addition, special thank you also to Reza Pourvaziry, Chair of UEF, Anantha Krishnan, Secretary General of UEF, Alessandra Sollberger, Founder of TTI and Farshid Hosseini, Head of UEF Australian Secretariat, for this inputs and support in the webinar’s planning and materialisation.
